When the world set on fire; Heroes were born. ‘GR STRONG’ is the story of resilience and innovation in Grand Rapids as it responded to Covid-19.

Community. Creativity. Collaboration.

No one could have predicted that Covid-19 would have been a global pandemic.
No one would choose for this to happen; but when it did, the local community
in Grand Rapids (and West MI) chose to react in a positive way. Businesses that were
once competitors quickly became collaborators. Companies that manufactured
one type of product quickly shifted to produce other products
that would benefit society as a whole.

Here at SALT, we also saw this as an opportunity to come together,
collaborate and serve our local community. Our Creative Production Studio
joined forces with another production company, Cre8gency, to produce
“GR STRONG.” Special thanks to our friend, Keith Patterson
for co-producing and co-directing interviews.

During this unique set of circumstances
we were able to lean on each-other to capture the
beautiful stories in our strong GR community.
